The Cassowary Coast Region is situated just to the south of Cairns and features world heritage listed rainforests, isolated beaches and tropical islands. The region is named for the endangered southern cassowary.
The region offers some great sights and activities including walking and food trails, art deco, indigenous tours, rafting and diving.
