Whale Watching Byron Bay conduct daily whale watching tours between June and November. Our trips are small and personalised with a maximum of 12 customers per tour. The migration route of the Australian east coast Humpback whale brings them in such close proximity to Byron Bay’s Cape Byron it is likely you will encounter several whales during your tour.  This also allows us the quickest access to the waters used by migrating humpback whales. Therefore there are no long boat rides to and from whale watching sites and your whale watching adventure begins immediately. Our whale watching guides will impart  interesting facts about the migrating whales as well as Cape Byron Marine Park’s many other sea creatures including dolphins, sea turtles and many different species of sea bird. Each of Whale Watching Byron Bay’s vessels is equipped with a hydrophone so you can listen to the Humpback whales amazing whale song.

The mangrove areas are breeding grounds for crabs, oysters and fish. Your day commences after morning tea and coffee, with a leisurely sail from Cairns. Once you arrive at the Great Barrier Reef you will be overwhelmed by the pristine Coral Gardens teaming with a myriad of colourful Tropical Fish. Enjoy the freedom to swim, snorkel or dive. After a tropical smorgasbord lunch we arrive at our second shallow water location, Upolu Cay / sandbar, where you can spend the afternoon exploring the surrounding reef, stretch your legs or continue with your swimming or snorkelling. Our professional and experienced crew will be on hand to assist you wherever they can. Relax as we catch the sea-breeze for our homeward sail and be entertained by tales of fascinating history of the 'Mighty Falla' whilst enjoying afternoon snacks with our complimentary wine.

"AHOY ME HEARTIES” have a swash buckelling adventure on our new pirate themed waterpark.With 4 waterslides to choose from, there is something for all ages. Fire your fellow pirates with the water canons, or get drenched with the giant tipping bucket. Suitable for ages 3 years and up. We have a small pool which is great for adults to relax and cool off in the tropical surroundings. The ’bubble cove’ area makes it even more relaxing.  Lounge on a sun bed and take in the natural surroundings. We have one of the largest jumping pillows in Australia, which the kids (and Adults) absolutely love. Fully fenced and surrounded by white sand, the littlies love making sand castles around the edge. Lots of fun and games to be had for the whole family. There are tables and chairs and a BBQ located near the pillow so parents can keep a safe eye on the kids. The campers kitchen is located 200m from the river, with undercover tables and chairs, free BBQ, gas cooktop and large oven. There are also 2 microwaves, 2 full size fridges and 4 sets of sinks in a spacious area with views to the sparkling Clarence river. We are one of the few Holiday Parks that allow camp fires. Enjoy family time the old fashioned way, around the camp fire. Cook mashmallows for the kids and reminisce about the day.  Fire wood is available for purchase from reception.
