The Plantation Hotel has a fully equipped sports bar with full TAB & Keno facilities, pool table, 4 sports screens including mega a screen for the die hard punters. We offer large TAB Sportsbet screens with Trackside screens, Large TAB Racing Screens and small TAB screens. Every Friday and Saturday night our Back Room opens up as a night club with a capacity of 500 people with the sliding doors closed. Once the doors are open we have the capacity for 1000. The Back Room is the heartbeat and focal point of the Coffs Harbour nightlife, featuring high quality sound and lighting equipment, a large dance floor and mood lighting to set the scene. The electric atmosphere is further enhanced by our 3 mega screens providing exciting visual effects for our touring and local live entertainment. The Back room is also periodically utilised mid-week with touring bands and special private functions. For the birthdays, bucks parties & hens nights we have a VIP area giving the party members the luxury of their own private space while still enjoying the energy of the club. The Back Room is decked out with high tables and stools surrounding the dance floor and couches and low tables in the raised areas. Weekend and large night events we offer a free cloakroom service , complimentary bottles of water and Hotdogs from 10pm. This helps to keep patrons hydrated and minimise intoxication levels. A new complimentary offering we have just introduced is the Discgo mobile phone charges. The Shaded Beer Garden leads off from the Sports Bar and is decked out with an outdoor mega screen and outdoor pool table. It also features an elevated undercover deck with TAB Facility, large night life screen, which is great for small private functions. For the cooler months we have 5 x gas heaters surrounding the whole area.

Dolphin Marine Magic is the only zoological park in New South Wales exhibiting dolphins and the two daily presentations are the Coffs Coast region's star attraction. Through the fun and educational 'hands-on' experience we offer with our animals, Dolphin Marine Magic hopes to inspire life changing habits within our guests which will make a real and measurable difference in the conservation of the marine environment. We are the home to dozens of animals, more notably our Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins, seals, a flock of Little Penguins, Green Sea Turtles, fresh water turtles and a variety of endemic fish species. We have the most successful breeding record in the world of the endangered Australian Sea Lion, with less than 12,000 left in the wild. We are the only facility in NSW endorsed by the government’s regulating bodies to exhibit ‘iconic’ dolphins, one of only two facilities displaying cetaceans in all of Australia. What really sets us apart from other animal parks is our ability to engage visitors with our animals in an extremely ‘up close and personal’ manner.
